Sarthi is an AI voice assistant for Android. You speak in Hindi, Hinglish or English and it chats, plays songs, handles calls, makes photos and videos, writes notes and more.

It works on all Android phones running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer. There is no iPhone app yet.

The app can be used with your own Gemini or Groq API key. Those companies have free plans with their own limits. If we introduce paid features in future, they will be clearly shown before you pay (see Refund & Cancellation).

Create a free account on Google AI Studio (Gemini) or Groq, generate a key, then paste it in Sarthi: Settings → AI Settings → Connections.

You can sign up with your email and mobile number, or tap “Skip for now”. An account lets us help you recover your password and manage access.

This is normal for apps installed from an APK file. Tap Settings in the prompt and allow installs from your browser or file manager, then install again.

Open Settings → Apps → Sarthi → tap the three dots (⋮) → “Allow restricted settings”. Then enable Accessibility again. If your phone has Auto Blocker or a similar protection, turn it off while installing.

सेटिंग्स → Apps → Sarthi → तीन डॉट (⋮) → “Allow restricted settings” दबाएँ। फिर Accessibility दोबारा ऑन करें। अगर आपके फ़ोन में Auto Blocker जैसी सुरक्षा है तो इंस्टॉल के समय उसे बंद करें।

Phone Settings → Accessibility → Installed apps (or Downloaded apps) → Sarthi → turn it on. Sarthi uses it only to tap, scroll or type when you ask.

Turn on Accessibility and the “Display over other apps” permission (in Sarthi Settings). In the latest version Sarthi opens the video directly, so it should start playing by itself.

Sarthi is built to answer only your direct voice and ignore music or TV. For best results keep the volume moderate and speak close to the mic. Using earphones is the most reliable option.

Open Settings → Voice & language and set your name and gender. After that Sarthi talks to you accordingly.

A place to upload photos or videos, ask for sketches and edits (fast or slow with live preview), make voice-overs, write notes or code, and turn a script into a narrated video.

With the switch ON, Sarthi keeps listening even when you leave the app or lock the phone, until you turn it OFF. A notification shows its status.

Set battery to “Unrestricted”, allow auto-launch / background activity, lock Sarthi in the recent apps list, and enable “Display over other apps”. Some phones close background apps aggressively, and these settings reduce that.

बैटरी को “Unrestricted” करें, auto-launch / बैकग्राउंड एक्टिविटी की अनुमति दें, रीसेंट ऐप्स में सारथी को लॉक करें और “Display over other apps” ऑन करें। कुछ फ़ोन बैकग्राउंड ऐप बहुत जल्दी बंद कर देते हैं, ये सेटिंग्स उसे कम करती हैं।

Set a secret code in Settings (for example “wake up Mayra”). Then Sarthi stays quiet in background mode until it hears your code, and goes quiet again when you unlock and lock the phone.

सेटिंग्स में सीक्रेट कोड सेट करें (जैसे “उठो मायरा”)। तब बैकग्राउंड मोड में सारथी आपका कोड सुनने तक शांत रहता है और फ़ोन अनलॉक-लॉक करने पर फिर शांत हो जाता है।

When someone calls, Sarthi tells you who it is and asks whether you will pick up or it should. For spam calls (loan, credit card, OTP) it can talk to the caller and end the call. The whole call chat is saved so you can read it later in the Calls screen.

Rules about recording or AI-answering calls differ by place. You are responsible for following the laws and getting any consent needed. Use the call assistant responsibly.

On the login screen tap “Forgot password?”, enter your registered email, and we will send a 6-digit OTP (valid for 10 minutes). Enter it with a new password. Check your spam folder if you do not see the mail.

लॉगिन स्क्रीन पर “Password भूल गए?” दबाएँ, रजिस्टर्ड ईमेल डालें, हम 6 अंकों का OTP भेजेंगे (10 मिनट तक मान्य)। उसे नए पासवर्ड के साथ डालें। मेल न दिखे तो स्पैम फ़ोल्डर देखें।

Wait a minute and tap “Resend OTP”. Make sure you typed the same email you signed up with. OTP is sent to email only (not SMS).

Yes. You can log in with either your email or your registered 10-digit mobile number plus your password.

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, traffic uses HTTPS, login attempts are rate-limited, and your chats and API keys stay on your phone. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
